On GSDs it is not unusual for the "pressure marks" to reduce. The dog can get in the car cage wet-through, and the mat just dries. Very good heat insulation, slip-friendly and absorbs impacts. Underside drains. The mat is the same size as a 1.2 x 0.8 m pallet (outside resting places are often on a pallet) and weighs approx. 10 kg. Easy to cut into smaller pieces with a carpet knife. | Fits all cars. Wind down the window, insert the screen and wind the window up until the ventilation screen is held firmly. Ideally have two screens in the car so that there is proper ventilation. Dogs cannot regulate their body temperature by sweating as we do. The dog has a very small margin before overheating. It can pant, and sweat under the pads. When the body temperature rises to a little over 40° the dog dies. Shut in a car on a summer's day this can happen in 30-40 minutes. |
| Never leave a dog in a car with the windows closed. The dog's life can be in danger, even in spring and autumn. With the ventilation screen the windows can be open and the door locked without the dog's being able to jump out. |
