Working in an agitation harness during bite exercises is more considerate to the dog. The dog can also be tied up with a working line or expanding line. It is easier for the dog to work, pressure on the throat and neck vertebrae is evenly distributed and learning is improved. Unnecessary injuries to the dog are also avoided. This increases the active life of trial and service dogs and the dog is spared unnecessary back pain. The agitation harness is one of the most important pieces of equipment for training. When the helper is not wearing a protective sleeve, and agitates the dog, or walks in front with an unprotected arm, you realise why the agitation harness must hold and why an ordinary tracking harness is not sufficient. The standard harness fits most dogs except the very biggest. Provided the harness just goes over the dog's head, it will fit elsewhere. |

Tracking harness from Kenjan

| Böttcher tracking harness with Kenjan improvement. The Böttcher harness is clipped non-choke with the chain collar's rings on the underside of the throat. Kenjan has improved this further with a short controller clipped in the middle of the chain collar up on the neck. When the Böttcher harness is on, there is a ring under the dog's stomach to which the tracking line is clipped. When the dog is tracking, the nose is pushed down to the ground in the dog's most comfortable tracking position. Often used when learning tracking, to prevent later problems and to be in the correct position right from the start. Made in 18 mm wide and 5 mm thick super quality leather. |

When the dog pulls in the harness, the pressure is evenly distributed by the 5 cm wide straps. The harness is also good for cycling with the dog. It takes ten seconds to put the dog in the harness - with mittens on. The harness is continuously adjustable. A rule of thumb is that you should be able to insert a finger between the harness and the dog. It should not be any tighter. Nom-tracking harness "Tracker"

| The Tracker tracking harness is a Nom-type harness. If you have several dogs of the same breed you can use the same harness for them all, because it is easy to adjust. The harness does not load the chest unevenly. The pressure is distributed on each side from top to bottom, as with a draught dog harness. The tracking line is clipped a long way back on the dog's back. This means that in principle the dog avoids getting a leg over the line because the line is behind the dog. The dog can be on the trail without being disturbed by the harness. The harness is adjusted so that the upper flat part lies between the shoulder blades and the lower flat part sits just behind the forearms. The side length buckles are adjusted so that the harness fits properly and quite tightly. The harness does not load the lungs anywhere and does not chafe if it is adjusted in this way. |
